Teaching a solitary art like Iaido comes with unique challenges. How do you give feedback that sticks? How do you keep a class of mixed levels motivated?

Stop guessing and start building your toolkit. We’re hosting a seminar specifically for dojo leaders, assistants, and anyone with a passion for passing on the art.

Why you should be there:
• Break the Mold: Learn instructional designs that go beyond “watch and repeat.”
• Think & Move: We blend small-group brainwork with on-the-tatami demonstrations.
• Peer Exchange: Don’t just listen—share your best practices and solve common teaching hurdles with peers.
• Navigational tools: Move away from the idea of the ‘one right way.’ Pedagogical methods are tools that should make the journey as interesting as the destination!

Note: We will be in keikogi, but the focus is on instruction, not just perspiration. Come prepared to think, talk, and show. 😄🙏

For organizational purposes, registration is off course mandatory 😉
